Consumer advice
Shopping can be fun, but it can also be fraught with difficulty if things don’t happen as they are supposed to.
When we buy goods or services, whether new or second-hand, we are entitled to expect certain basic things. The items must be of a suitable quality, fit for the purpose and as described.
Whether your new car won’t start, your new shoes leak, or your plumber lets you down, you need to know who to complain to and how. Remember that responsibility lies with the supplier you bought the item from, not from the manufacturer.
If you’ve made your complaint and you’re still in a pickle, you can contact Salford Trading Standards. Happy shopping!
