Financial help
Whether you are a parent with a child in school or a student choosing to carry on in education after you leave school, you may be entitled to financial support.
Salford City Council has a student support team who can advise you about financial help if you choose to go on to University. We can also advise parents if their children are eligible for free school meals or travel.

The University of Salford also provides information for students who will be studying with them.
